The initial session is used to discuss your expectations of counselling and how best we can continue, working together.
If you agree and feel comfortable working with me, we will agree some initial goals for our sessions and the frequency of our sessions. These sessions are typically weekly but I am open to a frequency that suits your circumstances and goals.
We would review our progress regularly to ensure that the sessions are working and continue to work for you.
If you decide that you would like to continue with counselling but for whatever reason would like to work with a different therapist, I can give you some names of other therapists or refer you onto a specialist service.
